Early Access Feedback - What kind of skillset do i lack still stuck in the early stages of the game? - Forum

Just roll a ranger, you will cakewalk through the early game. I’m sure you could follow a fubgun or palsteron build, or just wing it.

Something basic should get you through act1

Base attack > +phys dmg support and faster proj
Lightning arrow > scattershot
Escape shot > + freeze duration support
Lightning rod
Vine shot or whatever the hell it’s called

Slap the vines from range, throw a few lightning rods down, blast the trash with lightning arrow. Pick off any survivors with your base attack. Bosses run around in circles throwing vines and base attack.

Monk for example, it's unplayable until i buy a bow. But even with the bow, i get my ass kicked by most bosses. I know i must have mistimed the 50th dodge, or maybe i casted 2 skills instead of only casting one before 10 seconds of running away, but how do i improve these so called PoE 2 skills? Not trying to be sarcastic, just extremely frustrated. It feels like they are stealing my time with this.

i hope this will help you a bit.
first of all, you seem to stuck in the very early game,

early on #1: USE DODGEROLL! you need it!
look what the bosses are doing, they are scripted so you can learn their behavior to dodge the most dangerous stuff from them.
try them over and over again. you will get them down.

if you are not good at dodge or movement, mb play something that have good def early like armour. or at least use armour early on, it will help a lot!

do not spend your early currency on anything other than weapons, they are your best friends!
upgrade them if possible every 5-10 lvl.
look at vendors everytime you had lvlup, they get restocked then.

overleveling the zone also helps a lot early on to not get oneshot that often.
you can click any waypoint and then CTRL-Leftclick the zone you want to farm and then click "new" to reset it so you can farm it again. or you can wait in town ~10min for the zone to auto-reset.

also if you have no idea what skills to use on a specific char just go to YT or twitch, search for the class and ask what they did use to level.
