I dont know if this has a place here, but its Trail of Chaos so I give it a go. I got a huge problem, that the corpses of the enemys disapear after 1 or 2 seconds. So it is unplayable if you have a biuld which centers around corpse explosion. Thank you for your long post, I compleatly agree and I tried a lot of modifiers (because I died a lot, stupid disappearing corpses) and none of them feelt good. Some of them just made the map impossible (rotatiing pyramid on a curve, which goes against the wandering statue).
Had a lot of fun until this point in the game!

Agreeing with all of this, and also I despise the Trials of Chaos version of the Chimera boss because it keeps wasting your time flying away instead of actually fighting you.

I agree. Not only this but the Trial of Sekhemas is BS also.

Not only is it extremely long, it is a bit rough to even have to deal with to get the ascendancy. If you fail, welp, there goes all the time you put into it. Ohh you need more rooms.. have fun with more afflictions that carry over and make things miserable for you.

For me right now, it is so anti fun that it makes me slow down my gaming time from being frustrated. Both of the trials are complete BS.

Sekhemas at least is consistent with its version in PoE1, except for the monster design.

Chaos is a massive step backward from Ultimatum.

GGG have decided to just wank themselves off with how difficult they wanted to make their game. Literally a weird, poorly written love letter to Souls games while missing every single conceivable point that makes those games so good. It's just a hard time sink where victory leaves you with a bitter taste instead of a 'i got good' moment.

Trials of Chaos is poorly thought-out. The modifiers are extreme from the beginning. It makes no sense and a pure RNG mess.

I could rant about every aspect of it but I genuinely cannot be arsed.

Fuck GGG and fuck this game. I am going to brute force my way through that 4th ascendancy and then quit.
