The Fatal Flaw in the Trial of Chaos

Ultimatum is my favorite league mechanic in PoE. It plays quickly and it's central mechanism revolves around push your luck, keep going for more rewards even though you know it's really risky.

The fatal flaw with the Trial of Chaos is that it is completely missing this push your luck element from Ultimatum. You're not really supposed to stop when the trial starts getting too difficult or unfair. The design even discourages you from backing out by hiding the take rewards and leave button. Pushing the player into a situation that will lead to certain death is not fun or interesting design.

I also have some other minor gripes such as:
- A lot of the modifiers are just straight ported over from Ultimatum.
- The room sequence is too static.
- It takes way too long to get from one room to another.
- Not a fan of the Trialmaster's new voice and he doesn't seem to taunt you as much as before.

Ultimately I would be in favour of a complete redesign that brings back the push your luck element from Ultimatum but I think at least rebalancing the modifiers would be enough to make the mode playable for most people.
