Path of RMT

The scarcity of early/midgame currency/item/crafting will lead to even more RMT than Poe1.

Never had issues with currency and gearing up in poe1 thanks to cheap twink items but if Poe2 stays exactly like it is today, luck and your build/class playing an insanely huge factor in early/midgame will definitely cause more RMT than poe1.

Most of my friends already did RMT to skip the difficulty very early while I'm still struggling in level 1/2 maps, trying not to die, kiting everything.

If they did, they need to be banned for it. And you should be banned as well if you don't give them up along with the source if you know it.
imo rmt just means the game is good. do we care that much? if rmt for whatever reason didn't exist- the items that would have dropped still would, and would have eventually traded with whatever in game currency to the same people.

i dont think the casual father or player would care to spend $2000 on an item. i think the 12hr 6 day a week andys would. I think the botters would. i also dont think the casual player would be able to earn enough currency to buy those bis items in game anyways. only the 12hr 6 day a week andys would.

so who does rmt actually effect? the items would exist either way.

Not necessarily $2000 but $50-100 is probably enough for them to get over that scarcity and I know a lot of people who doesn't mind doing that.
I mean if a bot can pull off some of these fights....that's pretty scary.

Yeah ok, lets see how you feel when the pay2win guys start buying up currency and mirror items during leagues and then f*cking the economy up, like they always do. This bullsh*t is not good for anyone.

There is no difference in some of the screen clearing builds in POE2 and the screen clearing builds from D3. They press 1-2 buttons to damage abilities, 1 button to "heal" and just endlessly kill trash. Bots don't need to fight bosses. They just need to endlessly grind shitty white mobs.
