I mean I'm choosing to craft my own gear, even though I know I could be trading for stuff. I have enough currency to use regal/ex on pieces I think are worth it.
But the argument of this thread that it's cheaper to buy instead of craft. Which will always be true.

Meanwhile im praising each and every exal orb drop like its the second coming of Christ, yes, they are that damn rare to me, and i've only dropped ONE, YES, ONE Chaos orb.

I'm STILL using a belt i bought and exalted at lvl 30, level 72 atm, screw me for thinking there is any crafting to be done eh? (I only play SSF, and i realise that i did it to myself, but i hate trading in games)

So yea, trade will always be better, but if you make crafting good? Decent? Real? People will do that because trading sucks. You can close that gap pretty well but like right now? What if we just dropped more gold and we could spam the gambling vendor more, wouldn't that just be better?

Yea, PoE 1 had gambling with style at least, 2 though ..... 2 just has gambling

I prefer crafting my own even if it does cost more. I don't play SSF and will buy a build enabling unique if I really get screwed over, but I craft my rares. Anything I sell that "profit" goes into crafting. I did break this in settlers because I decided to "go hard" lol.

Seeing as how crafting in two is just random drops with extra steps, gambling is legit how I get upgrades now. If I get real desperate I'll trade.
