The Game suffers from Multiple Crash Bugs Yet GGG Is Silent

bumping because the silence isn't ok. they decide to take a long weekend or something after launching their game?
Game is crashing every other loading screen. Disabling a CPU core is the only way to play without bricking the whole pc.
Pretty poor all things considered. I'm crashing loads, although I've manage to avoid the full pc crashes for the most part. Strangely unlike poe 1 when relog I'm still at exactly the same point in the game not town etc. Is this the same for anyone else?
Report the game on steam.
I cannot send/reply to direct messages because my in-game character has not finished Act 1.
What to do:
1)Write a short review about the hard crashes in notepad.
2)Copy and paste it to steam reviews, put up a negative review.
3)Copy and paste it to steam discussions, put it up there.
It would be great if the devs could at least update us on the status of the issue. The lack of information only fuels speculation and theories among players.
I've done all the fixes posted and it still hard crashes my PC. I've uninstalled POE2, possibly permanently, since I can't find anything from GGG regarding this issue.

Please also report the game on steam. This might help with refund requests.

Was able to get mine refunded just now with 11 hours, Good luck.
It sounds quite revealing. I'm buying a support kit, and I'm supporting the developer. but the developer doesn't support me in response when I can't play his product. lol

FYI: No "solution" here will ever fix the issue. The only true solution is disabling multi-threading. To lessen how bad the crash happens, you can disable CPU cores on the process so it only freezes the game and not your PC. Nothing else will help.

Claims saying it's 24h2 are untrue as well. It happens on older versions of Windows as well.

This is an issue with their async thread code resulting in memory violations. It causes an infinite loop trying to read an invalid pointer when loading new levels, which never completes so just eats performance. The reason why disabling some CPU cores works to not cause a complete crash is because processes do not all share the same threads on those cores. Likely if you disable CPU0 from POE2, Windows core functions will have some headspace on main to work with so you can end the process from taskbar.

This explanation makes sense. It is quite probable. I'm quoting it from the other thread so that people can see it.
