TRADING NEEDS INSTA BUYOUT!

1000000% agree here, Trading does need an instant buyout or the Currency Trade needs a section for Listing gear.

Players listing and slowly walking there Gear from 1 Ex to 40+ to gauge interest is Mental.... I've been messaging people all day trying to get some items....
And all I get is ignored... Or I have to pay 10 times what it's actually worth to get it because everyone is desperate for them since No-one will sell anything without Ex by Ex raising the price till there is only one person interested....

Please for the Love of god... just Price your gear what you think it's worth.... if no-on buys it then lower it.... Stop clogging up Poe Trade with your Price Fixing BS.... This isn't an Auction....

I remember Jonathan talking about this in an interview, saying "people expect instant buyout" and "you can't go without instant buyout anymore", also referencing Last Epoch.

And now they still didn't do it. Why not just put the website ingame and have an Instant Buyout button insted of a whisper? This cannot be difficult to implement if even Last Epoch did it!

Trading as it is right now is just annoying and not fun to engage with at all! I'll never understand their vision here ever.

And the argument "it should not be easy to get good items" is bullshit. It is not difficult to trade, just annoying and people in the end will quit and those who do trade will get their good items anyway.

I have a friend which is new to PoE 2 and already wants to quit because of that.

Last Epoch did it right, why can't you GGG!

Isn't the problem that some people if there is instabuyout would just buy every single of 5ex uniques and start selling for 10+ since no whispering and is fast making it that they will just sit whole day in their hideout focusing on one item to make it extremely expensive?

It has a lot of problems as well if you allow this kind of exchanges.
It might work in other games, but remmeber Path of Exile players are the ones that can play 16h/day grinding and getting a lot of currency so they would be able to literally just buy everything out

I wispered a player maybe 10 times over the course of a few hours because he had an item that was basically perfect for my current requirements and it was not that expensive all things considered.

He eventually wispered me back saying "Dude, stop wispering me about that item, I will not sell it to you!"

I asked him why he would list an item that he has no intention of selling in the first place and was not honored with a reply.

And this is something that happend in PoE1 so frequently I really hoped they would improve this system.

I get that it's about player interaction, but is it really player interaction if you spent most of your time being ignored?

Learn how to use the site properly then: Don't try to buy 200 listings of price fixers or people who just put it in a dump tab and can't be arsed wasting time for a 1ex trade when they can make 5ex just continuing the map and get another drop thats worth 10+ ex. Time is money.

If you are on the trade site, click on the part that says "listed X minutes ago" below the price. That will sort by most recent listings and people usually are "there" and willing to sell.

Remember:
1. Time is money
2. Don't cheap out - Rather spend 2 ex and have the Item and not waste time than trying
to save 1 ex for 30minutes.

Theres obviously issues that have easy solutions. You are basically saying - Do all these things to circumvent a shit system, and I am saying make the system better.
