sir we get 20% all res in campaign so 80-20 = oh it's still -60% all res as per PoE1
it just hits -60% in red maps rather than after kitava 2, which is pretty nice actually

The real complaint is that while it is the same as PoE1, PoE1 has TARGETTED CRAFTING meaning players can get the res they need if they work at it while in PoE2 there is NO TARGETTED CRAFTING and so everyone depends on a crappy RNG-only system.

Wilson wanted GGG to have their own Elden Ring but failed utterly to understand what made Elden Ring what it was.


which people dont get whats worse is if you die you also lose xp+map+loot.

ngl poe2 is cringe as hell and i hope GGG loses a lot $$$ lol cause people are getting frustrated

It doesn't matter at all if everyone is subject to it. Just due to such whining I've seen other games dealing with irrational players by adjusting sheer presentation of the mechanic - would you feel better if you didn't see those red numbers but instead damage of monsters was adjusted accordingly?
I am playing with -90% res to fire, -60% to to cold, no energy shield, minimal evading, and feeling totally fine:) At least on T10 maps. Only have some res for lighting because some lightning attacks can't really be avoided. Wearing unique with -30% "bonus" to all res. Only burning patches are a bit difficult - I have only 1400 hp and can burn for a second.
