dont turn off multithreading.. this give horrible performance.

Just install BES app like OP said and lower the poe2.exe process file to -2 or -5%. the game works fine and no horrible performance.

Game worked fine for the first few days, now hard locks my whole computer every time I try to change zones. Can't even pull up task manager when it happens. GGG needs to address this issue or start issuing refunds.

Same. Super annoying when it happens.

freezing has been happening since POE1...apparently GGG just decided to ignore it

No need for the scripts btw. Just use "Process Lasso" to remove 2 cpu affinities from PoE2 executable. Open BES, limit by -5 with the GUI. Seems to be working so far thanks.

Having the same issue.

Try loading an instance, PoE1 completely freezes my whole PC, have to do a hard reset.

Please fix GG.

Latest GPU drivers, chipset etc etc latest Windows updates, fresh install of PoE 1.
