DETAILS:

My Ruthless char is in act 5, I wanted to get him done before the end of the league just to pick up a few achievements. He is doing Righteous Fire, Purifying Flame and Holy Flame Totem. Kitted with Armor ES on bodt (to get blue sockets) and other Armor only gear. Played for 2h and guess what. ...

It was easier than POE 2. The boss fights werent half an hour, I could craft gear, the packs didnt take 5 min to burn down. I did first lab at 45 and got almost through, had to pause game to get a snack, currently idling in a corner about to kill Izaro a third time.

So all you people saying POE2 is Ruthless are wrong. Its harder. The only thing I missed the roll. As bad as it is, quickstep is worse.

GGG You guys have a lot of work to do here.

Edit: For those that seem to be literarily impaired the "half an hour" is hyperbole.

With what hack?

You guys need to learn to play the game. PoE2 isn't PoE1 so stop playing it like it is. Combo your skills, build synergies with supports, and bosses will fall quick. Even melee kills bosses quick, VERY QUICK if you just keep your weapon somewhat current and READ the skills/supports to know what combo's into what.

Even then, IF you still don't like the game, then that's fine. That's why PoE1 will still be produced so you guys can be happy. Don't ruin my game just because you want a mindless zoom fest v2.0.

GGG is a small studio with at most 200 employees. Rumors have it they have kept only 8 people on PoE1. Even large studios with 1000s of employees and 100s of devs struggle to keep old live service games on anything but maintenance mode when the put out the sequel. GGG says they will keep production going for PoE1 but nothing of their current size points to that being a reality after a year or two.
