Well, since you're not gonna listen to me or any other actual gamer that wants to have fun!!!

Early Access.
GGG has delivered a solid foundation for an EA release. You have a solid progress throu' the campaign and then you'll have the map system. PoE is all about Loot, farming, killing bosses and testing your own strength. Which is possible in the EA release, however you as a player need to accept the fact that YOU chose to buy an EA key, well-knowing you went into an UNFINISHED product, yet you describe the problems as if the game was finished. Im not worried as GGG has alrdy proven that they listen and know what they are doing. they have showed us this the last 10 years. Enjoy Poe 2 for what it is, EA, filled with bugs and GGG changing everything. Just like in PoE 1.. Your current character.. Won't be your last. ;) |

GGG had someone play Elden Ring and thought "This is what I want POE to be"
POE2 is more Diablo/Souls-Like then POE-Like Im very disappointed in it. |

" Why do you expect anyone to take you seriously if you can't even formulate your own criticism in writing? I will not waste half an hour watching a content creator I never particularly liked. All you actually wrote in your post can be summarised as (fake quote): " ... which is not in any way a constructive criticism and something GGG can take action on. (Other than doing what you want, i.e. making PoE 2 "same but better" than 1.) Ascend with precision.

" Yup, they've been teasing us for months, saying almost exactly that. The name Elden Ring and Souls in general was dropped on more than one occasion as inspiration. " My brain malfunctioned after reading this. How can you be disappointed if the game delivered very close to what was being promised for months? Or did you actually mean "I don't like it, it's not for me"? Ascend with precision.

The game designer has said in interviews that POE2 is not going to appeal to some people who played POE1.
he has expected many people who enjoyed POE1 to give POE2 a whirl bounce off it and return to POE1 and that's fine as they have also stated that POE1 will continue to get support its not getting dropped for POE2 as we have seen with the last 5 years of dev work to get POE2 into early access. I however am in the other camp of players who they have pointed out who have played POE1 and keep bouncing off it. like I have had this account since 2014 ish and have never been a hardcore POE1 player. that said POE2 out of the gate has my attention I am that player they are trying to catch and so far I'm in the net. and that to me seems like an interesting decision as you can cater to 2 audiences with the same franchise, the original audience is feeling maybe a bit cheated or like they are being neglected but once POE1 gets another awesome league that feeling will fade away. |

"Me. I love the gameplay loop, I love the massive locations and the slow pace. If you don't like the game, you can go back to PoE 1. I cannot go anywhere, because no other game like this exists on the market. "Exactly. If they change PoE 2 to PoE 1, PoE 1 players will have 2 games to play while I'll have 0 games to play.
