Trial of the Sekhemas Needs major reworking

Agree with this so much! Fucking Tanks and Regen builds are completely useless because you can't regen. The idiots that made this must not have tried it with melee characters.
You should only lose honor to major hits from mechanics that you're supposed to avoid. Being hit by an auto attack, a stray fireball, or something inconsequential shouldn't move your honor level at all.

The traps are just stupid and unfun, and the controls in the game lack the finesse need to navigate some of the more obnoxious puzzles like the checkerboard pattern of flamethrowers, some of which have a space that is almost exactly as wide as your character model. Which is makes no sense since the isometric camera position makes accurate judgment of things like depth inherently inaccurate.

Further, the need to farm up tokens when you fail is idiotic. I failed a trial, and it's been 15 hours of play and I STILL have not gotten another token. What in the actual fuck?

The stakes on these trials are way too high. If the campaign is about a 5/10 difficulty, then the Trials in normal are easily 10/10, and more like 20/10 on cruel. And part of this is because it requires an idiotic playstyle that is not at all implemented anywhere else in the entire game. What is the point of a trial that is not reflective of the actual gameplay?

Truthfully, it reminds of when games like RPG put in mandatory minigames to progress the main story. I don't want to play a fucking card game in FF7 Rebirth either, but at least they didn't make it insurmountable.
have to +1 this as well
It needs to be deleted, or at the very least remove trials being a requirement for essential skills for you to be able to play any class effectively in endgame. No one wants this shit nor enjoys being forced to do it. Had I known, I would have never bought the game nor put in all the time I did getting to endgame.
Yeah… Some devs must be holding grudges against melee players. I have no idea how this made into the game in this shape and form where melee players have to avoid every fight and get no loot like relics and keys in return.

What the fuck GGG?

One of the few complaints I agree with. It should be losing honor for some subtantial mistake, not white dmg auto hits etc.

Then the trial of chaos is an RNGfest. Overall trials are major tedious, frustrating step backwards.

So many of the POE2 development decisions baffle me.

But yes, I absolutely despise the current ascendancy trials. It's just one more thing that makes re-playing the game on a seasonal basis uninteresting for me. Unless GGG dial back a lot of their questionable choices, I think this game will have high attrition and fail to retain players long-term.
We just got to these. How exactly am I supposed to do this as War? I don't get it, this isn't a skill issue. It's a "cannot complete no matter what I do" issue.

I don't understand how I can possibly beat it. Kinda a hard wall here. It's stressful, too.
Honour system and the fact that you need to beat 3 trials in a row is the worst design i have seen for a while
ascendance was at first only for distance class. after they remember they have melee class but it was too late
