Mighty Silverfist in Jungle Ruins

The checkpoint should definitely be moved, but I'm positive one can just mad dash back to the zone entrance and it'll be enough. It's not very hard to outrun silverfist, he has tons of downtime every time he slams.

Issue with this is, if you're at level, or lower or undergeared or a bad build, you get swarmed by the respawned mobs as you're trying to get away. Either the boss catches up to you or you get killed by the mobs if you can't kill them fast enough.

You can kill him. Treat him like the beach boss in POE1. When he's about to attack, roll behind him. Hit him 1-2 times, and prepare to roll again. Takes a while but if you've cleared the adds from the area to give yourself space, this works fine.

Yeah, I beat him that way too. I put in the video description the way to beat him is to keep moving.

You can't lead him in one direction and then after you die and respawn immediately start running in the opposite one? Pretty sure his trigger distance is not that long.


No, you respawn, he respawns right back in his spot.

That video sucks. He could have clearly moved down and avoided the boss but instead sat still to.......what, prove a point? He is also capable of tanking the slam, so I don't see the big deal.


I wasn't making the for any reason other than to do it. I also revisited much later to make the video, even stated that I am well ahead of this area now in the video. Even killed it at the end.

Adding to this. Mob is super overtuned and the AI being able to lead my dodge rolls feels bad (I fully acknowledge that I, too, am bad). Check point being close is whatever IMO, I don't mind it for the fight attempts. That said, all of the trash mobs that spawn on a checkpoint is actual ass. Not just white mobs, but having to clear magic and rare mobs while dodging the overtuned one hit KO... Feelsbadman

walk around corner, see monkey, Dodge Roll, (this increases my Evasion by 30%) get hit by Slam (cos it follow you) Dead.

Rinse and Repeat.

Died 3 times on that thing, doesnt matter what I do, I cant get near him to hit. (Ice Stirke main skill)
