Same here. Won't drop the item so can't continue questline.

Guys, while the quest seems buggy she only drops a two floor sanctum anyway. Which will not let you get your third ascension, you need to drop it randomly or buy a three floor sanctum (ilvl 60+)

Same here, and i have dropped from game with exception during Explore Traitor Passage quest. Suppose these events connected.

Don’t try anymore because it doesn’t drop. The task is written incorrectly. You’ll get it by killing 60+ monsters. Just farm in any area with 60+ monsters, and it will drop. Or you can buy it.

I died to poison DoT after killing Balbala in Cruel; no loot available.

Since then I've only dropped ascendancy tokens for either trial that don't grant ascension; honestly, what is the point of these? Can the game really not work out which ascension trials you've completed and whether or not you've completed the pre-requisite task for the next one?

I'm stuck unable to ascend despite having completed the campaign (level 66), and the best solutions are to buy a token or complete the trial with a friend that I find somewhere, and all I can wonder about this is why any of it is necessary.

Maybe it's just me, but it seems this token gatekeeper creates far more problems for players than it solves for GGG. Are the random drops really worth exploiting prior to ascending? If that's true, then they're trying to fix the wrong problem...
