Where's the female melee/STR class?

Hey GGG,

I wanted to give this feedback early, in the hopes that maybe if the full game with all 12 classes won't change this, there's still time to go back and change on of the class models.

I understand the gender locked classes. Personally I really dislike it but I get the technical reasons. Double the models, double the work, I fully understand. I much prefer being able to play any gender like I love the female barbarian in Diablo 3 and 4, but you guys don't have Blizzard's budget, you can't afford to make a game with all the bells and whistles they can, I understand.

My feedback is, why are all the female classes based on ranged INT or DEX archetypes? Why aren't there any female classes based on getting up in people's faces? It feels a bit... I don't know. Restricting. It makes me feel like, in the world of Wraeclast, women are relegated to being dainty squishy back-line fighters.

Which I know isn't true! There are a TON of badass women NPCs and bosses who aren't afraid to throw a punch or swing a sword in both PoE 1 and 2. I love them! I think your world and your characters are really cool and I don't feel like there is that gendered restriction in Wraeclast! It's just when it's time to decide what *I* am going to play, there is that restriction.

Basically I hope the Crusader or Duelist something has a female model. That's all.

PS if anyone is going to be cringe about this feedback in the replies - I'm sure you all know what I mean - please don't. Different players care about different things. This is something I care about. I guarantee you care about some stuff I don't. There's enough room in PoE for both of us.

I actually agree you, I got over the gender locked classes with poe1 (which was mostly my dislike of the male voice lines for out of mana etc...) and them not having to deal with more models make sense (though with the new skeleton system for poe2 it shouldn't be as hard as adding it to poe1 would be)

but at least we will get huntress who will be spear focused and can go into the strength side of the tree no problem. however unless they want to commit to making gender swapped versions of all of the classes (which even if the models aren't a problem the voice acting and the story integration will also take a while to do) huntress will be the only melee focused female and templar + shadow will be the only male casters

this comment is mostly just a long winded upvote and a reminder that huntress is coming sometime...
Go away
This is the last thing they need to be working on right now...
Because they are based on the original classes? Maybe because they are realistic? Men are much stronger in real life, it makes sense that women who chose to fight would do so in a way that doesn't require swinging hunks of metal around. Also where is my male caster? We saying all men are meat heads?
low priority but it would be nice :D i love playin melee slammers with proper ... proportions. Asmon would ban me for it tho :D
just slam the mobs with your massive bandonkadonks yeah 10/10 build ideawho even needs facebreakers
Add Scion To PoE2
Yeah because after I kill a boss I always say "thank god my character is a female/male".

The literal only time you actually care about what gender the character is, is during character select. After that they're surrounded by so much mtx that you can't tell what they are. Out of all the things to care about in this game, this is the very least important, and very most ridiculous. If you want inclusion and wokeage, go play D4
