POE2 - GGG, please do not add phasing for getting surrounded by mobs.

Frankly, even just changing the player hitbox size was too much.

Letting dodge shove aside small, swarm-y enemies like the Adorned Beetles? Okay. That feels fine, especially since Keth likes to throw three hundred of those at you at once and there's generally no way to not get swarmed unless you knew the swarm was coming ahead of time. Letting a larger, heavier entity like a PC barrel through hordes of gnats with a dodge roll feels reasonable.

Letting players Ant Man their way out of their own cock-ups and avoid the punishment for egregious mispositioning by exploiting nonexistent gaps in enemy packs? Not okay. You could already squeak through gaps you probably had no business squeaking through with the dodge roll on release. Source: crossbow pathfinder utilizing Dodge to frequently squeak out of places I definitely shouldn't have been able to squeak out of.

Monsters are supposed to be threatening. They're also supposed to physically exist. Want phasing on your dodge roll? Invest some Spirit in Blink. Pay for your phasing, and learn to use it properly.

Level 46 Sorc, Act3, just did the Poison Fight from the demo with the Shield Wall arena. Took me I believe 7 or 8 attempts. I died roughly 150 times by now. Just for reference.


I'm ok with the changes since you can still get surrounded if you don't position and play well.

I've only made it to lvl 31 Sorc in HC and was getting ready to fight what I believe was the act 2 boss. However I released these sister doll things by clicking on something and got a damn Shrouded rare that teleported behind me on a bridge and I was stuck and died. Those dolls are fast! 🤣. Next time I get there I will not release those dolls until the entire area is cleared. Just bad luck.
I beat E.T. on Atari when I was 5. When it came out. This is what I do.
im all for being surrounded for being careless however im not so understanding of is flinching, not being able to shi* even with stun thershold being high as guess what flinching isnt part of being stunned. Ive tested this theory with a shi* load of stun threshold and guess what..it didnt Do A Damn Thing. Either remove flinching or let stun threshold idk fucking work stop focusing on class nerfs, just fix this one thing first PLEASE
please dont listen to elitists like this. what matters most in a game is how it feels to play. getting stuck between mobs and dying feels bad.

those that dont like phasing, dont have to use it. so for them, nothing would change if it's added. on the other hand, those that want it, would have their gameplay experience improved.

so not adding it doesnt help anyone and adding it helps some while not affecting others. pretty clear choice in my opinion

people are still getting surrounded? this really became a non issue when they reduced player size during rolling.
