POE2 - GGG, please do not add phasing for getting surrounded by mobs.
+1. Majority of "streamers" raging on their deaths happen after they jump in a middle of a pack and call the game unfair. We literally have limitless dodge roll with no stamina cost of any kind and they still can't get that positioning is a thing.
People still try to play it same like PoE 1 and forgot its a different game that only looks like PoE. Also most skipped Ruthless. No more disrespect for white mobs :D twitch.tv/unik0rnu

They have reduced the mass of the player from 1 to 0, means you'll be able to dodge roll through smaller gaps. Still no phasing. In addition to that, smaller enemies can be shoved. I hope that doesn't make it too easy, but getting stuck entirely was always odd, because it bugged me into a weird corner sometimes. I don't mind it though, just keep you position and don't let the enemies back you into a corner.#
Will come with next big patch. Level 46 Sorc, Act3, just did the Poison Fight from the demo with the Shield Wall arena. Took me I believe 7 or 8 attempts. I died roughly 150 times by now. Just for reference. Last edited by Rebexus#0298 on Dec 10, 2024, 1:27:33 PM

if a player gets trap into a corner and ganked by a mob they should die.

THey made it clear in the patch notes that they want you to be able to get surrounded by mobs and die if you do. GGG seems to be sticking to their guns.
Also reddit is a cesspool. No serious person takes anybody on reddit serious lol |

I think these needs some adjustment personally. I'm OK with the idea of a player getting themselves into a situation where they're surrounded being punished for it. What really annoys me is that decision combined with numerous ambush areas where monsters spawn in behind you. I'm not sure how it's a player skill issue in those cases were your completely surrounded by ambushes.

100% agree! No phasing means you actually need to worry about positioning and thing about what you're doing instead of mindlessly pressing buttons...
