Raging spirit is wayoverpowered and has to be significantly nerfed

I'm actually playing as a NecroWitch without Raging Spirits and it sucks. It was great in Act 1, but right in Act 2 I'm forced to kite almost every pack around as my minions are not strong enough to deal with the enemy of my level. Zombies are so slow that they tend to expire sooner than I get to next pack. I'm over-leveled and yet it still feels like I'm under-leveled. Everything runs straight for me and my minions just do so little at this point. Some bossfights are a dodgeroll-kiting party. At that point you are not fighting the Boss, you are trying to outsurvive it. Just "don't die until your minons will tickle the boss to death". It definitely needs balancing. Raging spirits should not be mandatory for playing properly. Other minions should definitely be stronger in some way, to make up for not having RS on the plate.

While this is true, minion instability and infernal legion makes the SRS pretty good bursty damage.

You don't need corpses to summon RS. You insta summon quite a number of them for cheap mana cost anywhere and anytime. Arsonists are easily disposed of by enemies. They cost more that 30 reservation spirit and you wait for quite a while until they respawn again.
Frankly put Srs are necessary crutch that are realistically the only thing making the 1 - 60 experience of summoners playable

Summoners physically cannot get the tools needed to keep spirit minions like skeletons alive for any reasonable period of time until they are 20 - 30 levels into the passive tree where they can start to get minion resists, minion physical damage reduction and most importantly.. minion life regen.

20 - 30 levels comprises act 2.

This is such a massive issue that it is actually a vastly superior strategy to ignore spirit minions in act one, and focus only on srs and chaos skills.

And temp minions that require a corpse are flat out non-viable. There are no consistent methods for corpse generation so the moment you fight a boss with inconsistent add generation ALL corpse base minions become useless.

To make matters worse all minions de-spawn if your character gets more than a screen away from them. So even if you do have corpses to generate your temp minions..
They will all despawn before your next pack anyway unless the packs are really really close together.. (not really practical given how big the maps are)

They might as well remove zombies and unearth at this point as they are useless. you cannot build around them. They are dead space.

To be fair there is a great deal of that already so its hard to see why SRS is exempt :p
