Below are the changes we're aiming to deploy before upcoming holiday vacation.

Unique Monsters have an innate 500% increased Item Quant and Rarity bonus.
Rare Monsters have an innate 250% increased Item Quant and Rarity bonus.
Magic Monster have an innate 100% increased Item Quant and Rarity bonus.
Increased loot drop rates for equipment (Boots, Rings, Weapons, etc) by about 5,000%, including rare and unique items.
Shards will no longer drop. Instead, Orbs will drop in their place. (This does not affect things such as breach splinters)
Added Alteration Orbs and Scouring Orb to the game.
Added Orb of Hope - When used, the next currency item used on this item will be Lucky.
Added Orb of Mayhem - Lowers the tier of 1 modifier, Increases the tier of another modifier.
Changed how Jeweler's Orbs behave. Less can be used up to 4 sockets, and Greater can be used up to 6.
Increased drop rate for currency items by about 500% depending on the currency type.
You should now be much more able to craft gear. Items such as Exalts, Regals, and Essences will appear DRASTICALLY more often.
Crafting Bench has been added to the game.
Runes/Soul Core can now be removed, but the item will be destroyed in the process.
Gold cost to respec now uses the following formula: Character Level + (Allocated Skill Points Number * 5).
Gold drops have been increased by approximately 300%.
Vendors are now much more charitable and have reduced their prices by around 35%.
You can now change your Ascendancy, feel free to have fun and play around in this video game which is meant to be fun, not tedious and grueling.
Labyrinth has been added to the game as a 4th option to ascend. The Sanctum and Ultimatum options have also been heavily retuned and no longer require the stars to align to be completed.
Passive skill tree has been overhauled, we've removed approximately 100 "travel" nodes, and consolidated some clusters to be more impactful.
Melee abilities base damage and scaling has been increased.
Damage of Melee type weapons has been vastly increased across the board (approximately 25-40% depending on item type/level).
Dodge roll grants 0.5 seconds of phasing.
Dodge roll now consumes 25 Stamina. Base maximum stamina is 100 and regeneration is 15 stamina per second.
Dodge roll reduces stamina regeneration by 50% for 2 seconds when it is used.
Dodge roll can be modified by support gems.
Added various skill clusters to support and modify dodge roll mechanics.
Added 6 Dodge Roll specific support gems, such as Warp, Fade, and Rewind. Examples;
Warp: Instantly warps your character towards your cursor 10 yards, cannot pass walls or terrain.
Fade: When activated you gain Elusive and create a Smoke Cloud for 2 seconds.
Rewind: Instantly moves your character back to its location 3 seconds ago and grants you 1 second of Phasing.
Many areas and zones have been split. For example, the Drowned City is now Upper and Lower Drowned City, each has a waypoint. We agree that these zones are simply far too large and there is much too much travel time between them.
Monsters no longer despawn/respawn when you die, and dropped items no longer disappear.
You can now use all portals when exploring maps, regardless of dying.
Exiles base movement speed has been increased by 10%.
We disabled the "Forced Ruthless mode" option that was toggled on in the background, sorry about that!

Don't worry guys. The timeways are a bit shifty this time of year, so there may be a bit of wiggle room in the exact details, but these are about what you can expect from the next patch.
