POE 2 - Immediately Crashes before Log-in/Title Screen
Anecdotal: deleting your shader caches and compatdata if you’re using Steam temporarily resolves the issue.

Having the same issues.
PC specs AMD Ryzen 5 4600H with Radeon Graphics 3.00 GHz RAM 16Gb / SSD 512Gb / nVidia GeForce GTX 1650 Max-Q, 4Gb win11, with the unfortunate v.24H2; I've uninstalled the cursed KB5048667 security update and was able to have a few gaming hours, yet still - not without freezes at random points (usually when entering new instance). I do not have the HDR situation, that was discussed here and previously this freezing on start up damnation never was a part of my gaming experience with poe1, all stared with the KB5048667 installation. Hopefully, some kind of patch coming our way, this is really heartbreaking - I want to complete my challenges for the Kalguur portals ))) |

I played for the first 600 hours no crashes from 600 to 800 hours my event log has recorded over 1200 crashes on splash and another 71 crashes while in game. I don't understand how I can run tarkov at 240 fps but this game can't seems to log in under normal circumstances. Something needs to be done about this and yall need to put an announcement out about what the problem is and how long we need to wait for the fix to be implemented. You've had over 30 days and 500 of my dollers in your pocket at this point. I'm not one to get on to a developer about problems in early access games that's just part of the territory. However I'll be dawned if im going to fork over 500 bucks and can't even play. I'm sorry for the lomg winded rant but this is EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING |

can definately agree with this, as much as I hate to be that guy that is complaining in early access, but it is very annoying to feel unable to play without any actions to fix the issue

I’ve been encountering this all of today and in the last few months when I tried to test it out. I downgraded from Windows 11 24H2 and am still struggling to get it to load. It freezes before I can get past the intro to the login screen. I will say I’ve done three different reimages today and it took up my time. I’ll have to try the deletion of the file in my games. I think the overall issue is incompatibility with Windows 11 which is something GGG needs to consider for future versions. The game worked for me fine when I was on Windows 10. I shouldn’t have to downgrade a to a less secure version of Windows to play Path. Either way I believe there’s a bunch of things at play here. Some sort of buffer overflow, memory leakage, and likely rendering issues also. Any advice would be appreciated as I don’t want to play on my laptop with the DX11 renderer.
