yeah, I am raging over here where I have to close POE 2 7 times just to play again, and then an hr later load screen crash... I have a 4090 r7 7800XD with 32 gb of ram there is no way my system should be crashing while my little brother who is playing with a toaster doesn't get any crashes. Everything is updated too...

Programs crash not because they run on "toasters", but because of errors in the code. On the next page it will be forgotten. "Joe" has very short memory.

This is 99,9999% related to Win11 24H2. I haven't experienced any sort of crash before I updated to 24H2 yesterday and since then it happens constantly.

Played for about 4 hours yesterday on my HTPC with no crashes. It's not as comfortable to play there, but I guess I can finally finish the campaign at least...

As soon as it first started happening shortly after the 24h2 I have never played it since. Built brand new rig every zone would hard freeze into complete power off.. cycle wasn’t worth it after 5-10.. had a sour taste about this game after that experience. Will come back when it’s fixed on all sides. Really disappointed with the lack of communication, I get it it’s the holiday new year is right around the corner but I don’t think people need like full daily updates but it would be nice to have GGG start to explain what’s going on what they are seeing and the roadmap for what to expect bad or good. Stay safe everyone!

Just started getting the crashes after getting into end game. During the acts, no prob, but now I've crashed 3 times in a row after maps. Seemed to get worse after the newest Win update. Always in loading screen.

I'm experiencing constant lock-ups, sometimes three times in a row. The temporary fixes are ineffective—DX11 causes the game to chug, reverting Windows has no impact, and disabling cores 0 and 1 doesn’t prevent the game from freezing. Based on what I’ve read, this seems to be an issue with Intel processors.
Specs: - i7-9700K - ROG E-Gaming motherboard - RTX 3060 OC TI - 32GB RAM - Game installed on an NVMe When the game doesn’t freeze, I get a smooth 150+ FPS with no lag or stuttering. However, when it does freeze—usually when going back to town or changing locations (loading screens)—my CPU usage spikes to 100%, the FPS drops to 23, and the PC locks up completely, requiring a full reboot. Please FIX this! |
