The Ignite can get some pretty crazy dot-damage rollin if setup right, depending on your build even the "flee"-effect is great (cc).

Shock-stacks should only increase lighning damage, freezing should get the same sorta diminishing returns as stun...the problem is not ignite imho, but the other stat-effects beeing a tad to strong. Just my 2 cents...while beeing realy glad bout my trap/FB/Inc-Fire-Caster with emphasis on big-hits and big-dot-damage.


The issue is that if we reduced the other 2 effects it would negatively effect the player base, If we Lowered monster damage I think that would solve alot of issue, and allow us to tweak ailements

i was talking about their spread behaviour. Its even desired imo. fire spreading runaway monsters is fun. even if they dont run to other mobs everytime, they do fairly often.

oh and try out pack size undead outdoor maps with ignite and elemental proliferation. Um sure youll love it.

im 100% sure the ignited monster spreads his fire in a circular area around him (so the elemental proliferation thing follows the monster). I guess its not what he meant?

When I linked profile to my firetrap it would be static effect on where my firetrap exploded rather on the mob that was ignited o.o

Okay. See, I can be terribly condescending too.
The fact that Fire is full of low-damage-fast-hitting spells like Firestorm, Flame Totem and Incinerate means Burning mechanic is essentially useless as far as damage goes. To put Ele Proliferation to spread that burn which does no damage is a great joke. The fleeing part just adds to the insult. No wonder everyone is using Frost or Lightning.
The problem with Burning damage is that it is only really good on a non GMP/LMP/Fork Fireball; all other sources of fire damage suck ass for generating good burns. It doesn't help that shock is far and away the most overpowered thing in this game, so people compare it to that, when they shouldn't.
