Melee feels bad

Melee is pretty shit at the minute imo.

And I fully agree about the starting skills. Rolling Slam is bad, feels bad and locks you into a stupid animation that results in auto attack being more viable for DPS.

I also don't like how the wind-up to basically all melee skills seems really long. Leap slam I might as well be floating through the air to my target.

My issue with the current state of the game is that they've been making ARPGs for 16+ years and yet here we are with a game at day 1 that is so far from acceptable in it's core mechanics that i genuinely and I mean genuinely, feel like a beta tester.

agree with all the posts as warrior. does not feel good. Also a lot of attacks don't hit even though they look like they should and with the slowness of the character in the beginning it feels bad.
Melee feels pretty great, both for Warrior and Monk.

If we didn't have an ascension trial that's very largely anti-melee in its design, it would be even perfect. But that's a trial problem, not a melee design problem.
