Stutter when using flask

Hello,
I just wanted to report a bug I had but that is solved at the moment. Everytime I used a potion I had some stutter (CPU red line peak + FPS drop). After testing all graphic options, I found that it happenned only on one of my character. So I tried to remove all my stuff one by one but I had some stat issue (+X strenght on my crossbow but could not equip it because not enough str). Anyway I don't know what is related to this stutter but then I took some str in the tree and reequip my stuff and the stutter was gone.. If that can help anyone. Happening to me as well. No mtx equipped. Not just flasks either. Happens on charm trigger as well. Huge cpu + frametime spike. I hadn't noticed it before the latest patch though.

Had a look at my armour as well after reading above. The stutter disappears if I remove my body armour, and reappears when I re-equip it. It's not all body armours, it wasn't present when using some random magic body armours I tried after. MTX doesn't affect it. If I have the 'bugged' body armour on, I'll stutter even with mtx on.

Just checked with the same base type. This one doesn't do trigger the bug.

Im witnessing the same issue.
Idk if its specs related,poe2 update related or even gear related. changed body armor today and now encountering the issue as well. didnt have it befor. so it gotta be the update or the bodyarmor. im new here so idk how to link the armor in sry. also not native english. hopefully the problem get solved its not unplayable but kinda annoying ngl. edit:body armor is:iLvl70 Requires Lvl 62 70INT 70STR #Rare Storm Salvation, Advanced Sacrificial Mantle Fire rune and the armor,evasion and es rune. i think the issue is maybe related to the rune. edit:2 After some testing i can say its really the strenght, after respec into it, it got fixed. thanks for that advice. gl Last edited by Ricci50#5857 on Dec 13, 2024, 11:02:22 PM

I also noticed this, it did not happen day one of playing the game. im playing on 4080 - i9-13900k 3000 hz 24cores - 32gb Ram - game is installed on a m.2. so i know its not pc specs, even tried running it on 2k, lower settings, its 100 percent a flask issue.
Update mine went away oddly by increaseing my DEX by 10 it was the gloves causing issue for me, i still have on the same geardid not change it. Last edited by DanOzz#2212 on Dec 15, 2024, 4:45:18 PM

I'm also having the same issue too but also with some helms I got.
I upgraded Advanced Explorer Armour to Expert Rogue Armour but both had the issue. I could also replicate the issue with a Expert Cowled Helm but not the Advanced one I had before it. I did noticed that when I press the mana flask it makes the same sound as equipping the armours. It's almost like the armour is being re-equipped really quickly when the flask is activated. Changing flasks doesn't seem to help either. |
