Crossbow reload + dodge

I've taken all the reduced reload speed but it still has me reloading constantly after a dodge. Due to being so easily one shotted in the endgame and I have to use dodge often, it feels incredibly clunky to use crossbow.

I really hope this gets fixed.
Reloading in general is just fucking miserable, I have no idea who thought that was a good idea. It's a problem that seems to have been created ONLY to serve as a way to cost out a solution.

I have no idea why people are saying "they like the idea of limited shots and reload", is it just a thematic thing? Because from a gameplay perspective it is awful and has zero redeeming features. The shots aren't more powerful as a result, there is no pay-off moment - it's just a straight negative gameplay element. I would (MUCH) prefer just a longer general attack timer on crossbows in general and to entirely ditch the concept of ammo limit altogether, especially on low volume shots like those you have at the start.

I can 100% get behind replacing reload with just a cooldown period. Absolutely infuriating against bosses or large mobs and my character is just taking a beating without firing any shots. It's such a shame because I love this game and was excited for my next playthroughs, but I'll probably need a mental break after completing it with a mercenary.
We don't expect anything to change in patch 0.2.0 regarding crossbows. We just demand
1) Double the damage
2) Rework all passives related to the crossbow
3) Add a special item like a quiver to bows

If nothing from above changes, then you don't respect the time and effort we spend on the game.

Sooner or later no one will playing with crossbows.
I know that I'll likely play merc again (if the 0.2.0 patch notes are enticing enough) but I will be using a bow instead of a xbow.
We need that extra gear slot that bow uses quiver.Create an item gear for Crossbows to place in right slot to benefit from it.
I have absolutly no problem with Xbows reloads.

The Crossbow loads, and if you dodge a projectile or hit, it reloads again; that's the most ANNOYING THING I'VE EVER experienced in A GAME.

Also, that makes the shooting experience feel like a complete mess, to be honest. It's super annoying to click like crazy trying to shoot and dodging and not being able to shoot because every time you dodge, the crossbow loads and loads and loads.


Someone out here finally speaking my language, fellow crossbow enjoyer reporting in. Every time I dodge, my crossbow turns into a musket from the 1700s. BUMP!!!
