Poor performance with Nvidia RTX 3060

I'm assuming the GPU is the issue.

PC Specs:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7950x
RAM: 64gb DDR5 Kingstone. KF552C40BBA-32
SSD: 1TB SSD M2 7.200 MB/s (CARDEA A440 PRO M.2 PCIe SSD)
GPU: Zotac's 3060 Gaming Twin Edge Lhr Delta 2 (12GB DDR6)

Drivers: 566.36 Game ready for Poe2 (december 5).
OS: Windows 11

Display: 2k 120fps display.

Tried running both the standalone version and the steam version, both have the same issue.

Also tried running both DX11, DX12 and Vulkan.
Lowering the resolution (both ingame and switching to a Full HD display) did not help.
Neither did any of the setting combinations in the options.

DX 11 works the best so far when standing still, but framerate drops to ~15 when moving around.

I can't get past 30 FPS in the best of cases, with the following settings:
Renderer: Vulkan
Vsync: Adaptive
Dynamic Resolution ON.
Upscale: NIS
Sharpenss 15%
Texture quality: low
Texture Filtering: trilineal Filtering or 2x Anisotropic (same performance)
Lightning: Shadows
Shadow quality, Sun Shadows, Number of lights and water level detail: Low.
Nvidia reflex: ON.
Triple buffering: ON
Dynamic Culling: ON.
Engine Multithreading: ON.

Fiddling around with the settings didn't offer much improvement. I settled on these ones because they seem the most stable so far.

CPU time averages 5ms
GPU time goes from ~25ms to 50ms or more
Frame time averages 26ms when idling.

Additional info:
The only game with issues is Poe2. Poe1 works fine, so does God of War Ragnarok and Guilty Gear Strive.
I'm not recording footage or streaming.

Having the same issues
Directx 12: capped at 25 fps
Vulcan: capped at 25 fps
Directx 11: I can go to 100 FPS but drops below 40 regularly

Specs;
-i5 12400F
- rtx 3060 ti
- 32 gb ram
- 1tb ssd
- OS windows 10

Everything is on minimum, and I tried changing upscale to DLSS on ultra performance

Dynamic Resolution ON.
Upscale: NIS

Turn dynamic resolution off, and select DLSS for the upscaler and use the balanced option for it.

The game does look sharper this way, but the issue (low frame-rate) persists.

Hi!

The same problem with dx12.

dx11 works for me, but I have random stuttering and drop fps in hubs and in fights.

My setup:
GPU: RTX 4060 Colourful
Motherboard: A520M-A PRO with PCI 3.0
CPU: Ryzen 3 5300G
SSD: WDC WDS100T2B0A-00SM50
16 GB RAM
Win 11 24H2

I think it is because of y GPU, because another GPU RTX 4060 but Palit works fine with my wife PC. CPU the same.

I have the same problem with this config:

B550M Steel Legend
AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-Core Processor
4x TEAMGROUP-UD4-4000 DDR4 size 8 GB speed 3200 MHz (underclocked)
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 GIGABYTE GDDR6 12 GB
NVIDIA Driver Date 2024-12-03
Monitor 27G2G8 (AOC International) 48-240 Hz
Windows Version Microsoft Windows 11 Professional (x64) Build 26100.2605
Windows Installation Date 6/19/2024
DirectX Version 12.0

Playing with Steam, tested with/without steam painel with steam fps metering

I have some minutes of good FPS above 70 and after some alt tabs to check youtube and chrome builds I got a huge FPS drop to 30
What solved it for me was to go in the Windows settings, advanced graphic settings, add POE2 to the list of managed apps and assign the “High Performance” mode to the game.
Windows usually does this by default with all games, but not with POE2.

Same exact issue here, it renders the game unplayable. I have seen people having this same problem with different hardware but I just noticed one thing we all share which is having 32gb of RAM and having it installed on an SSD (specifically an NVMe, assuming yours is on an NVMe too). I don't see how or why that could cause it but as far as I know they are the only common factors

EDIT: FOUND A FIX. Its so stupid but it worked, I unplugged and replugged my GPU and my RAM in and now the bug is gone. Its so weird

Try and check setting in NVIDIA system-settings.https://prnt.sc/0tcE4pIE46A_
Check to run PoE2 in full-screen instead of windowed.
Also, the newest NVIDIA driver update specifically lists support for PoE2 and NVIDIA Reflex.

I'm also having these issues (similar setup, 3060). Lots of crashes and stuttering
