Hey Warrior player here.
Idk, it's so strange, I see so many people complaining about melee and bossing yet I'm completely blasting through the game and have an awesome experience.

Idk what to think of that.
So far the warrior has been an absolute beast.

What skills did you use? Something with freeze or stun or pin would help my warrior a lot. My frost nova sorc has done a lot better.

Let me show you
I made a video about it to show that it ain´t that bad.

Update: Apparently shockwave totem is just OP, good remote damage and stun buildup. Did it first try just using it. Definitely many user scenarios where you just don't have it and it makes the fight much much harder. This also is only with maces as a wep type so its more likely you don't have it at this point with all the melee skills available. I'm saying this on top of learning the fight and doing all the right dodges, it was a night and day difference with/without the totem.

Good job! The totem helps draw attention, build stun, and it’s supposed to erupt your earthquake jagged ground but I can’t actually tell if that function is working correctly. It still feels like melee too as the totem isn’t doing much damage imo.

Beat him with monk. Took couple tries. Just dodge his AoE shit.

This guy's is a bastard. I noticed that if you are away from him in wolf phase, the cloud phase comes often. So. I was standing ontop of him with my Merc. Did the first cloud phase. Then as I stayed around him dodging the red circles, and coming back, the clouds wouldnt spawn.

I made a note on another thread earlier. I was dodging the boss. No pots. Then the cloud phase.. all my pots.. the boss. Random.red lightning bolt.. died at 5% to go. Lol. Stick near him. Seems to work. Oh. And be on his back.. dodging the swings.
Beat him in 4 tries with Level 16 Monk being mostly in melee range. Most skills and attack patterns he uses are very dodgeable with all classes by just rolling so there is no difference here in terms of approach.

His 3 big attacks are easy to dodge and all i do there is dodge.
When he channels the ice coans from below just find a free spot and hammer him preferably trying to freeze or stun him.
Cloud phase is also fairly easy. Just have some skill to deal with the mobs quickly and focus on him jumping in. He talks and also you can see him right before the jump. Just roll into any direction, this is just a matter of reaction time. I am 39 and i can dodge him with a little bit of getting used to the timing and preparation. After cloud phase he spawns back in the middle, be prepared to go at him there.
And yeah other than that there is nothing challenging to be fair if you replay his moves in your head and prepare counters, the rest is just reaction and good focus.

I really want to love this game, but this boss is absolutely game-breaking for me with my level 19(!) warrior. I've never had such trouble with any boss before this one. I'm also playing with Earthquake and Totem. Such a shame. Is it just me, or does the warrior feel way too clunky and lacking in damage output for this fight?

Did him as a lv16 warrior, shield and mace. Damaging mostly using the Totem and Earthquake, since I almost couldnt have uptime in melee.
We start the fight with me and my gf (minion witch), but she dies as soon as he becomes the wolf and starts spamming ice spells.
Then I soloed him from then on. Which took about 20 minutes (again, no uptime).
I can entirely refill my potion during the add phase, then just dodge or block most of his attacks.
Only two attacks HAVE to be dodged, the ice breath (which can freeze you) and the jump that lands on you (took me from 100 -> 20% hp). If both of those land on you, you are dead.

Got him down on the second try.

EDIT
Let me add more info about my build at the time.
I had a bunch of aoe stun combos going on that helped clear the adds very quickly. My only issue was the adds pushing me away from the middle into the mist all the time (which shouldnt happen, imo).
My totem has +50% stun build-up support.
I used sunder as often as I could (which was not often enough), so their armor was broken by the time my totem could hit them.
I used infernal cry to buff my attack once in a while.
Im using resonating shield instead of normal block, since my mana regens quick enough and it helps stacking the sunder armor debuff when I block attacks. I prefered to block most attacks as it gave me more uptime than rolling stuff i could easily block.
But the skill that helped the most was Supercharged Slam, which combined with my support passives, could chain explode the adds during mist phase.

Im not using rolling slam, it often put me in a bad position and the damage wasnt enough to justify using it. So I retired it completely for now.
