GPU 99%

On POE2 login screen GPU runs 99%. Installed latest nvidia driver released on 5th december. RTX3070

im running a 4090 its running at 50fps, I switch everything to low, drop my resolution to 720p its stays stuck at 50 fps. I reinstalled my graphics drivers, did the check integrity of game files in steam. nothing works. my gpu is running at 100% all the time, my cpu is like 15%

This is happening to me as well.

Except I have an nVidia RTX 4080 with FPS @ 24 GPU @ 99% CPU @ 15-20% at login screen.

It sits at 27 FPS all the time. I updated graphics driver, verified integrity of game files, rebooted my computer, turned all settings to lowest possible, and still 27 FPS and 99% GPU.

If anyone has any ideas, I'm open to suggestions on a fix. Thank you!

I had to revert to DX 11 and framerates jumped past 27 up to 144.

However, my GPU was still pegged at 99. It was cranking at 66C. So I limited FPS to 60 and GPU is now only at 30-40% and temps have dropped a bit. Still something is not right.

I hit the same issue on the RTX 3060 12G, only 24fps in the DX12. After I returned to DX11, it up to 53 fps.

Since release I have exactly the same problem and what can I say, there is no solution for it. Tried everything I could find even rudimentary. Drivers all current, Windows new + latest updates, optional drivers up-to-date, all possible combinations of settings tried, forget it! With a lot of luck, it runs smoothly once a day, otherwise only problems. It's just no fun anymore to see how the GPU is fried by this low graphics. I won't install it again, it's just not worth it!

I find playing with GI (Global Illumination) settings and capping frame rates have been excellent on my 4K system with a 4080 (capped at 90 nearly always constant). GPU temp 62/64c fine with ambient at 32C. GPU utilisation at 91/94. D3D 12 biggest issue is it crashes... problem can't find texture/s for an object or scene (this is not content as rebooting same area loads fine).

The best thing about this game is to refund. There was nothing better when this graphics card burner was removed from the system and you had your money back to invest in games that deserve it more than that!

I do have exact problem but I got my game to atleast 80fps after doing some wierd settings, but it drops alot so its unplayable, playing on dx11 gets it over 150+ but its to unstable so thats also unplayable,

Latest drivers

99% usage on GPU
Only on dx12 and vulkan

Tried every possible fix but no luck, alsocyberpunk can max it out with no issues and that game uses dx12

Having the same issue with a 3080. I can reboot my computer and the problem goes away for a time. The next time I launch, however, the problem returns.
