download bug standalone client
" How did you get into the queue? I finally got the client downloaded, but now it won't let me log in. I just get the "Unable to connect to login server" error. Another kind of bug for me.
Download takes 3secs then I end up with an empty Content.ggpk file. Repairing or desinstalling doesn't fix the issue. |

The initial download includes an empty ggpk. The content.ggpk file will download when you run the game executable as a second step, similar to patching.
Sorry if you have another problem and the ggpk is still empty after trying to do that, though in that case one hopes you would have gotten an error message. | |

I have same issue. Installer worked with empty content.ggpk file. Double click PathOfExile.exe and nothing happens. No installation or error windows just nothing. Still waiting for Steam client key to become available but thought direct install might work to no avail.

same here. Installed at standard install path works fine, but not on other drives

This error happens every time I start the client. It downloads 975% of 42MB, and this comes up:
