Like, yeah - why is this an 'L', exactly? Were people somehow unaware that the early access build is locked in and ready to go and has been for likely a week or two now, at least? That's how game releases work - they need to lock down a release build weeks ahead of release so media can get to it and so they can get the rest of their systems around that build ready to boot. it's why day one patches exist, too - the 'Day One Patch' is the company applying fixes to the game arising from the weeks between Ship Lock and Release.

None of this is news. Why is it an issue? like, legitimately...why is this an issue?

Imagine thinking this matters in the slightest...

Wrong, GGG's first L was prioritizing content creators above all. Reason why, when I heard about Fextralife I didn't even bat an eye.

As much as I like GGG, and as much as I like POE, I will always criticize, and to an extent blame them for allowing streamers to ruin the game. POE 1 is in the problematic state that it is (power creep, dysfunctional skill gaps, etc) due to streamers and content creators. One extra youtube channel posting exclusive info is like a drop in an ocean.

I'm glad fextra is catching negative press, because fuck that guy. But jsut consider this is actually a minor fuck up by GGG if you can consider all of the other stuff game devs get wrong and other scandles!

While I understand that it was a BS move by Fextralive to release information they knew (or should have known) was not intended to be released early. The only reason why this is such a big deal being blow out of proportion is because it is Fextralife. If it was Icy Viens, IGN, PC Gamer it would have been over and done with.

If you do not want to be exposed to information that could spoil POE2 for you, then do not look up information that can spoil POE2 for you. Do not blame GGG because you like drama and got yourself drug into the middle of something that has no real meaning.

In the grand scheme of things, what Fextralife did has almost no implications on how the Early Access will go.

Move on, enjoy the game on the 6th.

IN the game for a long time, its been ok to
"EXPLOIT EARLY AND OFTEN" as promoted by many streamers. I'm not mad at Fextra.

They kind of exploited the contract it appears. IT's not really a burn or bad on GGG it's Karma. TBH

Also why even bother with guides before the game even started? Only thing I did is looked at the video posted by havoc to decide which skills I'm going to try first.
