Steam account deleted without my knowledge.

Hey.

I have already written with this issue to support using e-mail, but I'm not sure if it's being processed so i thought i can shoot my shot at forums.

Issue is that when i try to use my steam account by just launching the game, or login with it on website, it greets me with information that no PoE account is associated with Steam account and i need to create one.

The case is i have like 300 hours played on this steam account and i also have some bought MTX (stashes). I was able to play back in Necropolis league.

What i think could go wrong is that something was messed up during migrations.
This account I am currently writing with is some old account (not STEAM), but it has THE SAME e-mail associated that my steam account had.

Will appreciate some help because right now i can't use my account.
I could try to create new account while logging with steam (i get a prompt to do it) but I'm not sure if it won't do more harm.

Same thing happened to me, my Steam account got erased after merge, with 750 hours on it and hundred $ of MTX. Honestly don't create a new Steam account. I did it, and now I can't even log to the old one, even on the website. Make sure all 3rd party website are still logged in to your old Steam account so you have proof that it exists.
I am now logged in my old Xbox account.

Best thing we can do is to wait for support to answer us, hopefully before PoE2...

I managed to find that my steam account was previously linked to that account

I have found it using https://poe-profile.info/profile/Skarpetoperz?realm=pc
Feels like that account is in somekind of limbo.

Release is on Friday on i still cannot access my account. Additionally if I would like to play some PoE on my account, I simply cant.

Hey!

Due to issue described above i got question how should i approach EA this friday.

If GGG wont be able to fix it before Friday would it be better for me to:
-create new non Steam PoE account, buy Early Access there, and later merge it with my Steam account once you will be able to bring it back
-create new PoE account on my Steam (im greeted with information to create new one once launching PoE due to situation mentioned above), buy Early Acess, and later you will be able to merge two Steam accounts into one (or transfer MTX from original Steam account)
