im praying for the server capacity on Dec 6 XD.

with all the hype going on with POE2 i really hope GGG will adjust the server capacity accordingly.

I'm so happy for them since i'm pretty sure the all time record will be beaten easily on DEC6.

neat
same
Yes, I don't want a Last Epoch 1.0 release experience
given how they even have an accurate report of how many expected users will login (by # of activated EA keys), i really do hope they don't drop the ball on it.

Lets hope for the best and prepare for the worst:) I think some nice netflix/prime/hbo paired with some snacks and beer can be a good choice:)
I'm expecting problems. If there aren't technical ones, I will expect long queues; 60 min + queues. So yeah, I wouldn't expect a smooth experience in the first 3 hours at least.

Same. Chances are with how surprised they were with the response to the EA announcement that there will be either long queues or technical issues. I'm sure they're doing whatever they can to alleviate as much issues as possible, but there are simply a ton of people talking about the EA that aren't even PoE or ARPG players at this point.

Seems like the same response that BG3 got - niche genre, niche game getting widespread attention from new target audience.

Launch will probably be insane, but I'm semi-retired at this point so I have all the time in the world to wait, lol.
its literally impossible to prepare for something like this even if they would know how many people will play in their server they cant predict how their servers would react to having for example 500k players on their server thats stress testing what can only be tested on the live release

CRPGs are absolutely a niche genre. It's not something that generally attracts a widespread crowd. They've gotten more popular recently - with such games as the newer Divinity games, but it's still something mostly played by TTRPG and CRPG fans. BG3 broke that barrier of your average gamer dropping dozens/hundreds of hours into a traditional CRPG.
