by offering a discount to your country they're offering the same discount to the world, their only way to prevent it is to
- control where all those people actually live
- find out if they bought the right price for their country
- ban those who bought the access pack too cheap
this not only pesters all those poe players from rich countries from playing poe2 it's also a very costly procedure and it only affects those who use shitty distribution plattforms like steam and consoleros where the companies can fullly control their customers and enforce all sorrts of shit on their customers.
standalone players are not affected at all.

Do you understand what "Regional pricing" is?? Are you aware that steam was distributing PoE2 at regional prices only a few days ago? [Removed by Support]

The lowest price is available for certain countries (like Brazil) here on the POE website and on Steam, but only people from those countries apply due to certain restrictions. So regional pricing doesn't lower the cost for everyone, it allows countries with 1/20th of the buying power of another to have a discount.
The question is why did GGG remove regional pricing for every other country that was benefitting from it? No one feels happy having to spend 2x what they could've spent a week ago, even less if GGG did this silently. Not sure why the guy above was silenced by support.

easy, there is a difference in selling access to a game and asking for support for stuff that doesn't really matter in a game.
