FIX REGIONAL PRICING

Seems pretty dumb to use VPN to buy from another region in the first place
Valve will ban your whole account if they notice
Can't imagine it's hard for them to notice either

It’s pretty simple. Save your money. Problem solved.

We should just ignore the trolls. The regional pricing does not even affect them.

Regional pricing effects everyone. If GGG needs to make a certain amount (let's say 150 million USD annually) to be profitable, then if Market A is paying less (say 50 million) the Market B must pay $100 million to balance things out.

Until we hear from GGG, we won't know why they decided to make these changes now, instead of a long time ago.

Yeah prohibitive pricing will lose them money in the long run, and all of you saying people were bypassing region locks via VPN don't understand how steam works.

Actually you don't. All you need is a VPN and a paypal account to bypass Steam region locking. Regardless of it's is bAnAbLe makes little difference to people who don't actually play the game and instead are simply in it for the resale. You think someone cares if they lose a steam account when they can make another in no time flat. All they care about is profit for themselves or a company they might be working for. GGG did what it had to and they should not bend or break. Sometimes the terrible few cause problems for the many.

You're over exaggerating the # of people buying new accounts with a likely ban on the way in order to save 50% on an early access game.

The vast majority of players simply buy it on their steam account respective to their region's pricing, and GGG is losing more money with their prohibitive pricing than before. It's also a F2P game supposedly, and we're talking about early access, they're not losing out on anything.

They're not. Or they wouldn't have done it in the first place. It should not change back.

They are, that's why money-hungry corporations use regional pricing on steam (because it makes them more money than it costs them). It's better to sell 1000 $15 copies than 100 $30 ones. Stop being a clown and fighting over something that has no effect on you whatsoever.
Well, when I heard about price increase in other regions - I threw away all my doubts and upgraded from $30 to $160 package immediately. So it's a positive event overall :tada: emoji (if only these forums had any)
They could lower a little price for Poland. Currently its 61$ for 60$ pack, better than at the start (iirc 65-70$), but still a litte correction would be nice.

btw. for some reason on steam its cheaper in euro than in usd. They need some math guy to setup the prices ;)
