Chaos Innoculation question

Thanks Aryanjyi and Balthizer1903 you guys have given me a lot to think about.

I don't think I'm really interested in blood magic tbh I've heard good things about it but its something I've built right by and can easily pick up once needed. I don't currently have any buffs and have read that I should be able to run 5-7 without blood magic.

It hadn't even occured to me that I could spec into and later out of CI tbh so thats a great thought on its own (though I think at this point I'm going to avoid CI anyway).

What does having a high health have to do with my chance to be stunned though? I don't quite follow that comment?

Also at this point I don't understand why everybody is assuming just because my build goes to max that I will. The chances of me finishing either build is slim to none but its always good to have something to aim for and that's what lvl 100-120 point build is.

Laburnum you havn't given almost anything useful to this conversation or answered any of my questions beyond what you say is good or bad with absolutly no support to any of it. You havn't said anything other then a 100-120 point build isn't viable you haven't said why or any other useful thing about it a 120 point build is at this point completely viable and optional if you're willing to do the work its not my fault if you're not willing to. Stop posting in here if you want to troll go somewhere else. Obvious troll is obvious as the saying goes.

LOL, in fact i gave you the most valuable answer you will figure yourself
it is funny when someone asked question, but then ultimately doesnt want to know the answer

let me repeat myself again because i am so nice
a 120 points build is NOT viable, you know why? because when you start farming maps (endgame) you are FAR from lvl 100, so unless your build works, you cannot progress through it

but well, you go figure yourself

One of the major benefits of health builds over CI builds is that the length of status ailments applied to your are based on a percentage of your health pool. The calculation of the length for CI is based on the pool you would have without having taken CI - it's a very small number. That means when you get shocked, frozen, chilled, stunned, ignited as CI it lasts FOREVER, and the application is also easier for the mobs as well. This means no CI build can realistically play without some like Dream Fragments that prevents being frozen, as a 8 second freeze (or more) will likely result in death. That doesn't eer cover the other ailments like shock, but there isn't a good piece of gear to prevent shocks with. Stuns can be prevented with Eye of Chayula.

Necromantic Aegis is usually not used because you can't afford to lose defensive bonuses in a CI build when those builds already have low defenses to begin with. It's difficult to max resists in a CI build seeing as how your gear will always be very specific, pieces have to have high +ES and a high %ES modifier, if you get lucky and happen to have any bonus resist or armor on your shield as well as ES, you need it for yourself.

Don't factor +armor or +evasion percent into your build when going ES. You'll be using full ES pieces for a long time (or forever) and therefore will never have much or any armor or evasion to modify with percentages.

With all that said, CI does have upsides, but as I'm typing this on my phone and it's already been pretty long, I'll let you figure it out. Good luck! :P
