Armageddon brand/brand recall/summon trigger bots
I would like to know what is happening with Armageddon brand. So the issue is that some of the time I don't do any damage. This not a case of bricking the skill with passive. Honestly if feels like playing with very magic rare and unique monster having some amount of spell block. I have no idea what the problem is. All I want is some to check to see if there might be problem with the combination of things I'm doing.

Without importing your character, I'm guessing it's the way you built the character. You lack elemental penetration, curses, and some other questionable choices. If you hit any rare or map mod with resists, it's going to feel like you do no damage.

here let me put it into context, rogue exile that has energy shield, first hit deals damage, 2nd hit doesn't deal damage, i know this because before the 3rd hit takes place the rogue exile starts recharging energy shield back to full.
the reason i can see this take place is because brand recall is actually the main source of damage, as such the pace as which i do damage is as fast as the cooldown which in this case is 1.43 secs. |

Was on a PC that can't import profiles or I would have given more details. Yea, pretty much what I expected and adding in curses, penetration, and exposure more than doubled your damage against Pinnacle content (aka enemies with resistances). And Inspiration is iffy since it cycles charges too fast with your mana cost vs resetting charges with 60 mana cost vs 548 reset cost. You cast 5x to get charges, then you can only cast a few more times and you lose all charges. And most people doing Automation end up doing Empower/Enhance on Brand Recall to make the CDR faster.
But since you clarified the ES is recharging while they are being hit, then it's either they have gear that allows them to recharge ES on being hit or there is a bug. Would recommend video showing from here if you want to showcase which it is. There is testing you can do with self poison (fire damage can poison gloves + Golden Rule) to prove it is hitting or not, but that's up to you how much effort you want to put into it. "Easiest" test to prove how many times it is hitting. If you have 8 brands, you should see 8 poisons on yourself each recall. Or 16 with triggerbots. |

Clearly you don't understand what I mean by no damage, I mean zero literally. The problem is not that it's small amounts damage, that would imply that it actually did at least 1 point of damage. You think I mean that the damage is not enough to kill things, however that is not the case. I'm not here to try to "fix" my build. I'm here to report a bug.

Then you ignored my whole second paragraph I wrote after you specified the ES recharging. I can't help you there then. Good luck getting any assistance from GGG without bug report number or proof.

Well I do apologize for being unhinged. However I was recording at the but unfortunately it auto deleted. While I don't have evidence I was not able to replicate the issue.
But didn't think of using golden rule to test. However I know for a fact that is was not es gain when hit. While I have played for many years this is not the first time I have encountered such things. I remember a bug that that would happen to me with blade vortex(not that I knew of anything else that would do this) you have a single enemy that would simply stop getting hit or couldn't be hit, sometimes it would be for a some amount of time(I'm aware of skills that do this but this would happen with normal monsters) However I have hard time believing that I'm wrong about this. I was watching the health bar and it did not move at all for the es portion. I could tell when hit (Even non crits were dinging) which lead be to believe that it was in fact not taking a hit. Also the fact that the es would start rechargeing (by this I am talking about the built-in function of es, not any items that would come into play. On top of that the rouge didn't start rechargeing es when skill would go off. It wasn't till the delay pass. Either way you'll just have to take my word for it. I wish I could have showed you on side it wasn't just the one it was happening in every map. It felt like playing an attack skill with 50 percent chance to hit. |

I should also mention that even enemies that didn't have es were having the same thing happening them just not rechargeing like with es.
