I was able to resolve this by going to the path of exile 2 website and clicking on trade.
The direct link that I created to the trade website still gives me the looping verification check, but at least this is a workaround. |

Go to the trade through PoE homepage, the issue might be that you're not logged in. Was babooning around for like 5 minutes, when I realised I was logged out. Logged in and the trade works fine
