Every time I see these I want to work on my own hideout. Then I end up forgetting or just feel overwhelmed with all the possibilities.

These are beautiful works of art! Crazy to see how much the base areas can be changed.

First step is narrowing down what you want to do in your mind. Yeah, possibilities are endless, but it's important to pick one and go for it.

After you finish it, you go for another one.

And then another one.

And eventually you post something you think it's worthwhile!

You can freely download and import the .hideout files into your game (unless you're playing on console in which case I'm sorry, that feature is not available).
The downloads can be found through links in the above post or you can check out the Hideouts Forum https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-forum/hideouts or Hideout Showcase website https://hideoutshowcase.com for many more.


If you want any of these 6 featured hideouts specifically then yes, only 1 is fully free, 5 of them do use MTX bases and 2 of those are only available through a supporter pack bundle - so you would need to purchase those to be able to import the file.


Generally speaking though there is no need to buy anything and there are many hideouts free to grab that don't use any MTX at all. All you need to be able to import a file is the correct hideout base, many of which are free acts or maps unlocks: https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Hideout
