Mandatory uber content for challenges.

To get all cosmetic rewards you need to complete 38 challenges. Previously you was able to skip challenges with Uber bosses, but now there 3 challenges focused around t17 and uber bosses. Because of that uber content became mandatory.
Please reconsider this decision in future leagues.

Also challenges about killing uber bosses in specific ways, is kinda too much. Uber bosses is already challenging, adding extra layers feels extremely punishing.

why not just hand out 40/40 to everyone right day one after killing a single enemy?

they are called challenges for reason lol, and leagues last 4 months now so there should be plenty of time for even the average "casual" to finish the so scary "uber" challenges in one or another way.

They need to put back the 8/8 ones I NEVER did those but those were the jam right there actual challenges dedication all that stuff I want that mean while you got people struggling endurance fights / challenges basically and go this is way too punishing this shouldn't be a challenge!

It used to be 36 Challenges and before that there were only like 20ish Challenges total.

It's not a new thing they've been inflating league challenges to try and keep player retention.
Most leagues don't even resemble challenges anymore. Just grinds.

Only difference with Ubers is it's a bigger grind if you player hipster builds like I do.

A Lot of challenges are challenging in one way or another. There were always difficult challenges, but current challenges that focus on t17 maps and ubers that you must kill in very specific way is just bad.
It's fine to have one challenge that ask you to kill hardest bosses in the game. But i think 3 challenges is too much.

It's great that you can play the game and have fun for four months. I mostly done with a league in a few weeks. Challenges is often last part of fun for me in a league. But this time all this T17 and ubers are just frustrating. I hope next league situation will change, but maybe i'm wrong and everyone else enjoy this new challenges. I don't know, just wanna send some feedback.

Just don't do them then. I simply skip the challenges and quit the league, if I feel there are too much for mehhh rewards

Yep, i for sure not doing 38 challenges this time, and this is fine. I just don't want this to become new norm for next leagues.

frankly they should be harder. People shouldn't be "guaranteed" all the rewards. They are called challenges for a reason, and for too long they weren't challenges at all.

Multiple, or even MOST of the challenges should be based around the HARDEST content the game has to offer, or they should be about making easier content harder in some way (*Beat the shaper with only 3 pieces of gear equipped).

Think about how dumb this thread sounds....

That is basically the entire OP, summarized.

So much for "challenges" eh?


These are not ACHIEVEMENTS, they are CHALLENGES. They should challenge your skills as a PoE player, not reward you for mindlessly playing the game.

In my opinion, the very first (and easiest) challenge in any league should be "Kill the Shaper". You should NOT be leaving the campaign with 5+ challenges "automatically" done for you, nor should you have nearly all of them completed before you've ever fought a boss monster of some kind.

DAS RIGHT that's RIGHT make them harder and MAKE them solo dude.
