The better you are as a player the less defense you need to do content, that much should be obvious. If you fail to do content you lack either the skill or the damage or defense or all of the above. Orbaal is good enough as a player and/or has enough damage to do the shit you fail to do even with similar/worse defenses. It's really not rocket science.
