personally i dislike ultimatum. amongst all of the extra content available in poe currently, ultimatum is the one i hate the most.

BUT, imho it's in a good spot. it can be very rewarding to those who are strong enough to run em.

except trialmaster is not.

When people who run ultimatum encounter trialmaster, it's the same as saying you've earnt a trialmaster scarab which is worth X (nothing)
