Constant lag spikes from AU server

Good evening GGG,

I have been experiencing constant (almost every second) lag spikes (up to 300ms) continuously in game. This appears in every zone (hideout, town, all campaign zones tested). I have not had this issue before. Today after downloading and installing the latest large patch I have experienced the lag spikes for the first time. The lag spikes were immediate from when I logged in after patching today.

I have run WinMTR (https://pastebin.com/T05pJP8U) for you to review the logs. There appears to be 10% packet loss at each stage of the final service provider called GSL Pty Ltd, I do not know if this is your AUS hosting provider or some sort of intermediary.

I do not experience lag spikes when connecting to any other POE server, unfortunately for me the next best server is 250ms which is not an enjoyable game play experience for me.

I hope this information can help you to identify if there is an issue on your server provider, as I am a huge fan of the game and the work your team do.

EDIT: I reset everything (router/PC) a few times. Eventually got a more direct connection to AU server and had no packet loss. I still experienced lag spikes as previously described, but this time it was zone specific. Some zones would have continual lag spikes, other zones would have a constant baseline of 14ms lag. By reloading new instances of the same zone I could eventually find an instance with zero lag spikes and that would remain for the full duration of that zone. This is more aligned to some other recent posts.

Thanks,
Cam

im getting them too. did a blight and it went up to 12000ms before it kicked me.
only happened after patch.
my internet is fine cause there are no other issues in the house or doing anything else on my computer.

in town it varies up to 200ms. as soon as im in game soing anything it up to a 1000ms+.

very frustrating
Having same issues on Australia server. This has happened before approx. a month ago and seems to only be during the evening.

I have been on for most of the day, before and after the patch with no issues. o

does not appear to be sorting it self out :'(
Packet loss closer to the target instance IP.
IP addresses after edge4.Sydney1.level3.net are US-located.
Are we getting routed to US server? Why?

same issue for me
I found that if I rezone I can get a lower ping instance.
ping on discord = 11ms
ping in game 150-2,000ms

Australia, NSW

Edit--

Just hit 10,000ms

Location: The Descent

When i moved to Vastiri Desert, ping back to 10ms

Then back to 200ms+ in Foothills, tried going back and making new instance of Foothills, didn't change.

Same issue here, for the past few hours.
That's Layer3 in Sydney. The TPG route to GSL Networks and vice versa is broken again.

Bloodly GSL Networks... Can we decommission their stuff already GGG?
