If you enter into threads thinking that you're going to "talk sense into people", the forums (and the internet in general) will just drive you crazy. You have an opinion. I have an opinion. Everyone has an opinion. Very, very rarely is anyone going to change their opinion on something by reading a post on a forum. Best to look at it as a fun conversation or just post your opinion and move on. Anything else leads to madness and/or depression :)
