Scourge/Talisman all over again, always the same mistakes, never lessions learned.
" But only because they are all Krippy fans and are rage quitting because their favorite streamer told them to. /s Edit: Sarcasm on hindsight it definitely needs /s Pandering to players who don't want consequences for their mistakes is a perfect description of what went fundamentally wrong with D3 and 4. If they wanted mindless mobile game time waster gameplay they sure did make some perplexing choices and marketing statements for 6 fucking years. " maan you dont even play league and you comment like you alrdy done ubers :D |

" get over yourself the league has : a bunch of buffed mobs with no buffed rewards a terrible "crafting" system a random chance to roll an actual reward mod, '1% chance to drop an extra alt/alch' and rare allflames that put more overtuned mobs into your maps. and on top of all of that, it took EXTRA COOK TIME to get to this point. |

" edit my bad the sarcasm was too damn dry and then I also didn't pick up on yours. " I was confused also by your comment and thought, "surely this must be sarcasm" based on your previous posts. Hard to read it as you read it in your own head through a forum though. I'm struggling to come up with new goals to keep me playing this game. Last edited by hmcg020#6029 on Apr 1, 2024, 3:44:44 PM

" I was actually being sarcastic but yeah I guess there's some really stupid assertions flying around in this thread so fair enough. I'll edit in a sarcasm tag. " What about if I just log into standard? I can't hardly bring myself to play Necropolis at all. It's just not fun. But if I log into standard does that count toward payer retention? Or do I just need to not log in at all? |

" I get so tired of this. "If commenter X does not espouse my opinion, they they could not possibly of come to their conclusions on their own" Apparently, if someone doesn't like something it can only be "because other people made them think that way", can't possibly consider that they came to the conclusion on their own? People are pointing out Kripp quit because Kripp is super old school, he's known for liking the most brutal content, loves the game, and is very reasonable unlike many other people in the gaming world. So if even Kripp says this is unplayable that says something. It's reasonable to point out, especially if kripp is saying the same things everyone else is saying, which he is. " Couldn't agree more. I'm not a huge Kripp fan he's too low energy for my taste I prefer "Quiny" LOL. But that said the guy goes out of his way whenever I see him to be level headed and thoughtful about his criticism. I'm not pretending I don't get hot headed I do but I appreciate nuanced takes even if I don't agree with them. And I do not agree with a solid number of Kripps ruthless ideas (I think the mode needs to be made more fun by reverting to the normal atlas, putting Div cards into it, and putting in cooldown movement skills so that more than 300 ppl will play it). Anyway in this case I very much agree with Krippy's feedback. Also he should consider rebranding to "Krippy" its got a certain cartoonish ring to it and apparently the youngsters like the sound of it a lot. Pandering to players who don't want consequences for their mistakes is a perfect description of what went fundamentally wrong with D3 and 4.

" I get that it's kneejerk streamer hate (which is often justified) but that's literally not what happened. He quit because he hated the league mechanic. He repeatedly said Ruthless is the only way he'll play Path now. Of course, it could all be a grand lie meant to deceive all the feeble minded paypiggies on twitch who worship video game men as gods. Or, I dunno, maybe he was being honest. Who knows? |
