From my experience so far, from a new player perspective.
I've played a couple different leagues, but never have made it through the campaign yet.
Not because of difficulty, my ADHD .lol
I bounce around MANY games.
Anyways,my experience with this league so far, is... interesting.
I really like it mostly so far. From the campaign point of view.
But also, I have found that it hasn't been very rewarding.
Crafting in the grave, about 30 times so far has only given my character ONE upgrade. Which was a wand.
I'm doing a necromancer also.
I love the new little surprises I have found during the first few acts so far :) different enemies and pacts of mobs.
With activities.
Love that.
But as far as the actual leveling experience, the league has not really done much for me.
I have not found ANY uniques. Or crafted anything from any of the mechanics that has helped me except for that one.
Feel like the risk/reward is a bit off maybe.
Idk. I'm enjoying it I guess :)

i really like how diplomatic you are with your descriptions :)

Still just piddling through the second round of acts, It would have been really hard to follow a league like Affliction with anything that held up to it, and they haven't so far imo.

I'm quite interested in seeing how maps are different with the new scarabs, sextants were driving me crazy, but I had to start work again and can't no-life, so... I won't see as much of this league either way.

First league in awhile that I'm leaving halfway through sessions to go play other games because of lack on interest/investment in the mechanic. Especially first week of launch. Hoping it gets tuned differently.
I can easily roll over tier 16 maps with Fear of the Light and Wrath of the Cosmos atlas passives on a 30c build. But, of course, complainers are gonna complain.

Complainers about complainers gonna complain about them.
This is genuinely my favorite league since sentinel. The gold mods on maps are awesome and I genuinely don't understand how people can complain about this mechanic not being rewarding enough when it's dumping cards and currency into every single map.

Are you guys just not clearing your maps out? Or something? Because just getting down to 20 or less monsters remaining means I'm consistently getting offered two or three gold mods.

I can't speak for anyone else, still just finishing out acts, I haven't found it particularly hard so far, and maybe it is rewarding? I was going to wait to maps to make that claim. Personally, I just find it far less interesting than wildwood, where there were extra ascendancies and goo-gaas to slot in them and an extra pack slot and so on, so forth. As far as leagues go, I just think it's kind of boring. Felt way more invested in affliction at this point in that league. From everything I've seen so far, both forums and the actual streamers, it doesn't seem like the crafting is anything too special either.
