“Deal with it”
" Not to sound dismissive, but sustain from minions doesn't amount to much when minions are pretty weak in terms of dealing damage unless you can afford some incredibly expensive items, not to mention GGG outright removing Bone Armour in its entirety. If you don't have the sockets needed to install a guard skill linked with Automation (RIP left click), which isn't easy to avoid for this archetype, this is a huge hit to summoners in more ways than just an SRS nerf. I hate to hear it too, although i laughed because they can only pander, try to explain, walk-back changes etc etc so many times. So its almost refreshing to hear them say 'shut up' basically. The last quite a few leagues we have gotten a lot of borrowed power so whatever we lose this league I'm sure the mechanic will almost make up for and then some. Having tattoos back in the game alone is pretty big to help round out builds when you specific gear or crafting some almost perfect for what you need at such a cost yet its missing a few stats or res you need, cost of tattoos yet to be seen of course given how rare they might be. And god I hope they stay core somehow after this league.

" Spectres got a HUGE buff this patch, what are you even talking about? And SRS absolutely needed the nerf it got, both poison and ele hit SRS were braindead "beat pinnacle bosses on 20c" builds last league. |

" Spectres got a huge buff, too bad there's no good spectres left that are worth raising. Redemption Sentries? Nerfed. Primal Crushclaws? Nerfed. Syndicate Operatives? Technically what made them strong was a bug which got fixed, but it completely killed their usefulness. Affliction offered some decent monsters to raise as spectres, but seeing as the league isn't going core, we're stuck with bad options. Oh and let's not forget spectre builds typically require this helmet, which is only going to get a lot rarer and more expensive now that map juicing got nerfed. There is literally only 5 of its kind this league if you're only searching for the support gem mods. Let that sink in. Yeah there's also the Wraithlord helmet change, but I strongly doubt an additional 2 spectres at the cost of increased socket pressure (abyssal jewel sockets are now on the helm) is going to provide a lot of build variety outside of some very niche options. I stand by what I said that summoners have garbage build options available, no cheap starters, and the only good options got nerfed with absolutely nothing to compensate for it. " +4 spectres, not 2.....which makes other spectres actually quite a bit more viable because they would each require less individual AoE. Plus, you get....the 4 ghastly jewel slots which means huge amounts of damage and utility. HOWEVER, the downside of being unable to use any other type of minions is huge. It does make it more likely that you actually wouldn't be as socket-starved, but still. That helmet you linked would be nowhere near as useful or as powerful as the new Wraithlord paired with good ghastly jewels, nor as cost-effective. So builds would NOT "require" something like that anymore, which is a very good thing. The new Wraithlord helm enables: 1) Double the number of spectres = about 100% MORE damage to any spectre build, plus increased playstyle QoL 2) Four ghastly eye jewels = significant damage and utility, especially on the higher end. It's up to spectre builds to figure out whether those buffs make up for the loss of other minions, but they DEFINITELY make up for not having to use a mirror-tier helm to get similar or strictly worse damage and defense. Unless ofc the new Wraithlord becomes absurdly rare itself. Last edited by jsuslak313#7615 on Mar 22, 2024, 8:44:45 PM

" my comment is actually out of frustration towards ggg. the way they handle std and neglect melee is really showing they dont care. tho i m really happy with the new atlas which helps make std better [Removed by Support]
