“Deal with it”

That's because they know people will run back to their game every 3 months and swipe in for the newest pixxel they sell..

They know they can say "almost" whatever they want and people will laugh while others will see the real state of things..

You always have a choice.. poe isnt the only game out there thankfully..
"Parade your victories, hide your defeats. Mortals are so insecure."

Poe 0.2/10

Returning to poe in 3.27: ATROCIOUS game performance, 5/10 league and I apprently missed the loot back in the last league. The more things change the more they stay the same..
Can we get context to what was said at what timestamp?

There are plenty of situations... even in life, where "deal with it" is completely appropriate.
Mash the clean
The context I remember from the stream is re the Aisling/Veiled change. Ziggy's question and GGG's answer starts here, https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2097350903?t=02h28m23s, then Ziggy's follow-up and relevant response here https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2097350903?t=02h31m49s.

To me this seemed perfectly reasonable in context as part of an open and frank discussion. I didn't agree with them on this particular topic but I thought we got great and well thought out answers throughout, and deal with it seemed like good advice to me.

GGG realized they can do whatever they want.

POE is among the top arpg in the market and is also known as the best arpg in the market for many.

theyre one step away from just saying suck it

without any malice, this kind of comment is very strange. POE isn't the top dog in the market by almost any metric.

Fans really really like poe, but the game is practically unknown by the general public or gamers.

This kind of dev attitude is mostly going to turn players away, they really should have explained their reasoning if they have any. If they didn't they should have just said we are trying it out.

They can't do whatever they want, especially if its things designed to make players gameplay arbitrarily more miserable for little purpose.

You don't HAVE to play one of the nerfed skills, literally nobody is making you.

As a summoner main, minion builds are pretty shit right now and GGG's finally gone and nerfed poison SRS which was the only good build still remaining. I don't have a choice except to play one of the nerfed skills. Summoner is literally the only reason I play PoE as it's the only game that has summoning which feels as good as Diablo 2, and if I'm being forced out of playing it, then I have no reason to play this game.
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!

This comment made by Mark of ggg is really disappointing. It feels disrespectful to be addressed this way from someone who would like me to purchase supporter packs. What did I do to deserve to be treated like shit?

What a drama queen! Treated like shit? Yeah, that's actually how they treat their player base. They just rolled out a ton of quality of life improvements while completely re-imagining how endgame is experienced. Oh no, I'm so victimized by the tyranny of GGG for hurting my feelings. What a joke.

Could you please explain the intended use of this automation support? Not a trolling, I really don't understand why the hell would I want to use it.

Movement skills like frostblink have no need for automation unless you try to use it as damaging skill, and that cooldown penalty is crippling for damaging skill.

Guard skills: if I had second gem slot free, I'd have used CWDT instead, it is way more effective. Those skills already have worst uptime in the game, even before new reduced cooldown recovery from automation.

Vortex was nerfed, no longer an instant skill.

Corrupting fever and blood rage can be extended without recasting.

Withering step and phase run look like the only candidates, if you can spend extra slot

I'll answer this because its actually a great question. I question your assertion that the "CWDT is way more effective" thought.
As far as I can tell, the intention is that it is a more "proactive" automation vs. CWDT's "reactive" automation. With the new support, it will continue to activate regardless of whether you are in the midst of battle. CWDT, on the other hand, REQUIRES you to be in the midst of battle. So....guard skills might actually benefit quite a bit more being linked to automation over CWDT, provided you are on a slower moving character. Also, CWDT is not nearly as good for bossing as Automation will be when it comes to guard skills and other instant skills.

AND you can max the skill when you link it to automation. Typically, you leave CWDT setups as low leveled as possible.
Additionally, you can now use BOTH CWDT and Automation and not worry about sequencing. Too many CWDT setups becomes unreliable, but if you now sub out one CWDT for an automation, you get much more reliable uptime on TWO skills should you need it.

I get that Standard is not their primary concern. And, even though I am a huge STD enjoyer, I get it.

But, there are many times where this feels unnecessary, and throwing us a bone comes at no cost to the core game/leagues/their primary concerns. It is only when there is a disconnect that the STD community should have to "Deal with it".

You have a point, but for bossing you should dodge oneshot attacks manually regardless of guard. Which means other faster boss attacks you will catch are those which cannot oneshot you. In this case CWDT is reliable, you can be sure tiny guard uptime won't be wasted. On automation, guard will be another lottery like (low) dodge chance, maybe a hit worth absorbing will slip between casts, maybe not.

As for gem levels, immortal call 4 with CWDT 2 is still strong, it saved my ass more times than I care to admit. Combined with above reliability, I'd choose it over independent triggering.

So far lvl 20 steelskin on LMB was used only for characters with no spare gem slots. And now this LMB change just encourages me to go more glass cannon on such characters, using that gem slot for more offense.
