Having to watch youtube guides about boss fights its not fun :(

Kills the immersion and feeling for me because I cannot learn the mechanics by fighting the boss (rarely). Bosses are supposed to be hard ok - I get that. But having to youtube and watch guide about fighting boss is just... - could be done better so I can learn mechanics in game (other that getting one shot until you realize?)

I disagree. You don't have to watch a guide for the boss fights. If you're passionate enough about doing it yourself take notes during the fight. All the buffs/debuffs are right there on screen. Following that you can always go on PoEDB and get the boss information and use that to build your strategy. Every game is the same in this regard. PoE is no different.
All the bosses in the game were figured out and beaten long before the wiki existed with all the specifics of their attacks and strategies.

There is no boss too complicated that you shouldn't be able to at least know what's going on within three or four tries. Some of them, even after the first 3 or 4 portals.

If you AREN'T learning them, you probably aren't paying attention.

In fact, bossing is actually "easier" than any other aspect of the game because nearly every move is telegraphed, vocalized, and indicated widely on the screen. There are no 1-shots out of nowhere, no sudden spikes in difficulty, no unpredictability. Just straight up repeated patterns of behavior and timely announcements.

The only difficulty lies in your own ability to dodge and move on time. And that just takes practice, not really any youtube tutorials.

Ruthless SSF is not good place for learning bosses.

I disagree as well as someone who has not once read a boss guide in this game as everything is well telegraphed and very intuitive in my opinion.

How would a game even work if a boss was unbeatable without a guide no matter how much bruteforcing is used but there's no guide presented by the developer?

Is there even a single game out there like this anymore?
^hahahaha didn't even look at that.

"this game stinks, I can't beat the bosses! Tutorials/3rd party systems are MANDATORY"

Classic lost ark player. Obvious indicators are indeed really scary for some and so hard to learn hoho
Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun.

See that's exactly what I mean "3 or 4 tries" - I am not saying mechanics are ultra terrible but they are unforgiving just from the start.

What's the issue with 3 or 4 tries? That seems like a very low number.

Not only that, but it's the fact that you can be ready for the next try so quickly. I'm coming from a game where death means a good 5+ minutes til you're ready for another try. In PoE so far (day 9 for me :) ), I've zerged a couple bosses which took 2-4 tries to get it figured out, and only spent a couple minutes total on those tries. Overall, just doesn't seem bad at all to me.
