Triggerbots with Soulrend of the Spiral Malfunction?

Can someone please assist me with figuring out why Soulrend of the Spiral does not work with Triggerbots?

I am using Poet's Pen, with the skill socketed it Poet's Pen. I'm using Frenzy in my chest piece. I can make regular soulrend work, as well as other transfigured gems. Is soulrend of the spiral not supposed to work for any reason?

I'm also curious about the description of the skill. It says that it leeches energy shield still. On the poe wiki page, it says it does not....

Doesn't work at all? Soulrend of the Spiral has a huge mana cost, so probably you don't have enough mana for triggering.

If you mean the projectiles are still fired from you rather than from triggerbots, this is unintended. The location Soulrend of the Spiral is cast from can't be overridden currently.

Descriptive (green) text is incorrect here, but from the stats list you can see that the transfigured version doesn't have the leech stat.

Yes the mana cost is huge, but I use eldritch battery and discipline for lots of extra mana as energy shield.

I see the difference in the blue text now easier, thank you for the comparison picture.

So with the "this is unintended" part of your answer, what does that mean exactly? Like this is a bug that isn't fixed yet? or you mean it is not supposed to be cast from the triggerbots? They cast from my location everytime, so I was hoping to find a fix to have them work on the triggerbots instead like every other spell I've swapped in it's place.

Yes it's in the Known Issues list

Soulrend of the Spiral with Arcanist Brand triggers Soulrend from your Character instead of Brand location

Skittersbots and Arcanist Brand work the same in this regard.
