Unpopular Opinion: Remove Private League Migration

Honestly, leave it. I mean patch the exploit or whatever, sure, but acting to stop people moving things to the base league is protecting integrity that doesn't exist. Seems like a good learning opportunity. Oh, some people in capitalism league have absurd unearned wealth and there is no 'level playing field'? Whoa, no way.
Its not exploit. There is nothing to "patch" here. They need to either disable migraton entirely or remove the extra proj entirely.
The entire process is an exploit.

They did the only logical move which was to disable the projectile mod in private leagues. They've already fixed it

Cause it's been there for 2-3 years? Why would they take it out now when it's just a league thing?

With that being said this was an upside in private leagues meaning that's p2w; Entire point of a private league is it's the same fucking league with downside mechanics not upsides.

Not to mention that a small private league is also pretty much bottlenecked by a small to non existing market. People in normal trade league likely still gain more out of the league mechanic even without the extra proj simply because they have access to giga juiced maps all day long.

Yeah.. can't really sustain the scarabs and/or sextants on T7 maps with no access to Exarch altars and Operative boxes as proper strategy is a WAndering Path setup. Would have to have someone dedicate their atlas to farming the juice for the others to pull it off, and then I'd question if it wouldn't be more profitable for the group to just play the regular league and buying supplies from the market directly instead.

Either way, it's been fixed almost as soon as it became known

This is an old issue with a new set of spices thrown into the mix.

Old issue hardcore league characters were used in the same manner to migrate things to standard early.


They should fix all of the jumping places in line like that, merge people to the base challenge league until the end of the challenge league and all characters are naturally merged including hardcore-challenge-league when they die going to standard-challenge-league and having to wait til the end of the 3 month period to cash out like everyone else.
